Postdoctoral Position in HKU Computer Science
A full-time postdoctoral research position in the area of data science is available at the University of Hong Kong, starting from now until the position is filled up.
The main responsibility of this position is to advance the frontiers in data science, such as scalable graph analysis, NLP-to-SQL, transparent AI, and data science for social good. There will also be chance to participate in data science projects with organizations such as Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mass Transit Railways Corporation, and TCL.
The position is for one year and renewable to up to two years depending on the performance of the applicant, assessed by the publication of the work in top peer reviewed conferences and journals. Interested applicants must have a strong background in data science with a good working knowledge of mathematics demonstrated through publications in international conferences and journals.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English are required. The monthly salary of the appointed researcher will be in the range US$4100 to US$5800 depending on qualifications and experience. The salary tax rate in Hong Kong is capped at 15%.
